Live Chat with Ed Jerse

Ed Jerse, Director of Regional Collaboration, conducted a live chat with the Civic Commons on November 15, 2012.

The Civic Commons is a social networking site designed specifically for civic good. The site provides the place and the tools for citizens and stakeholders to deliberate and take action to make their communities better. If you aren't already familiar with the site, you can give it a look and register to participate here: http://theciviccommons.com/ .

The Civic Commons live chats are online conversations that bring together citizens, officials and stakeholders for a defined period of time to discuss a particular issue or an upcoming community decision. During the live chat, Ed discussed the County Executive’s Western Reserve Plan, specifically Principle #1: Implementing a practical strategy for creating a functioning, county-wide metropolitan government. Ed answered questions about regional collaboration, shared services and the County's desire to be a provider. We encourage you to read the conversation!
