Cleveland Heights, University Heights agree to anti-poaching protocol-Shaker Heights to follow

Shaker Heights City Economic Development Director Tania Menesse credited Shaker Mayor Earl Leiken with “leading the charge” to make the protocol more substantive.

“The guiding principle is for communities to work together, rather than against each other,” Menesse told Shaker Heights Council at its Oct. 11 work session. “We can be our own worst enemies, and, while we’re fighting with each other, businesses are going to other counties.”
